An hour ago, when I inserted my prometrium I saw blood! It was light. Maybe two or three drops on the liner. But it was red. And red is bad.
Please… if you have a prayer to spare, please send them my way!

Bleeding can be common in pregnancy. I had bright red bleeding with my son at 7wks just after my first u/s. Tons of bleeding, not just spotting. I thought for sure I was miscarrying but I think my cervix was just irritated from suppositories, ultrasound wand, etc. Take it easy, I am sure everything will be ok!
No advice as I know you know it all…just hang in there! Thinking of you.
Sending a prayer your way.
Spotting can be common in pregnancy but it doesn’t help the nerves. I spotted/bled off and on the whole first tri. It was very scary and I was terrified but everything worked out fine.
Hi, I am 7 weeks pregnant and have been on bed rest for a week for a sub-chorionic hematoma which is very common in early pregnancy (especially with all the drugs we are on). Make an appointment and get it checked out tomorrow. I am sure everything will be okay. It’s scary and I have been spotting for over a week now, but have had 3 ultrasounds in this time and everything with the baby is fine. Take it easy. Rest up and drink lots of water.
take care, Dee
I had bright red bleeding at week 10 — all on one day with no hint of spotting before. I had an ultrasound the following day and everything was fine. My doc explained some women will bleed throughout their pregnancy for no real reason. It’s annoying. I was assured it was me, not the baby, who was bleeding. Get the u/s to assure yourself. You’ve got my prayer!
The prometrium itself can cause spotting…but, go get checked out if it will make you feel better.
I went all the time because everything freaked me out on a regular basis.
Just as everyone else said, while bleeding/spotting isn’t “normal” it is definitely common. I bled (gushing) throughout my 1st tri because of a subchronic hematoma. I was very fortunate that my OB let me come in for an u/s anytime I was concerned. Definitely call your RE and see if you can get a scan to put your mind at ease a little bit. Thinking of you.
O ok, keep breathing! im praying for you. concentrate on the 2 heart beats, its gonna be ok honey. praying hard for your 2 babies. sending some strong sticky vibes & hugs
I bled bright red…turns out my cervix was irritated or something…
Oh! Sending prayers your way! I hope it is innocuous…
Prayer coming your way from us! We’ll be watching you progress, It will be okay! It has to be!
